Chinanews client, January 4th, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment announced on the 4th that in 2020, the four major pollutants in Beijing’s atmospheric environment, including PM2.5, have improved significantly year-on-year, and the annual average concentration of PM2.5 is 38 micrograms /M3, reaching the "30+" level for the first time, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%.

  In 2020, 3/4 of the days in Beijing in the whole year are good days, and the "good days" are more than one month longer than in 2019.

The number of days with good air quality throughout the year was 276, an increase of 36 days from the previous year. The good and good rate reached 75.4%, an increase of 9.6 percentage points. The number of days with good air quality increased significantly.

  In 2020, there will be no severe pollution days in Beijing throughout the year, and heavy pollution days will occur for 10 days.
