Recently, the subordinate units of the Second Detachment of Shanxi Highway Traffic Police have received or discovered that the fuel of diesel trucks has been frozen.
Among them, the Shanxi Expressway Traffic Police Second Detachment Fourth Brigade under the jurisdiction of the Rongwu Expressway from the Shanxi-Hebei Provincial Boundary Section to the Hengshan Section, as many as 12 such cases.

Due to the cliff-like drop in temperature, the lowest temperature in our team’s jurisdiction was around minus 20 degrees. Many truck drivers did not replace the -20 and -35 diesel in time, causing the oil pipes to freeze and crack.
Because the large truck in front of me did not replace the diesel below -20, the oil pipe was frozen and unable to move forward. It stopped on the shoulder of the highway, causing a great hidden danger.

According to relevant laws and regulations, when a car breaks down on an expressway, the driver must set up a clear warning sign 150 meters from the direction of the car.
However, due to the recent cold weather, the driver involved often sits in the car waiting for rescue when the fuel is frozen or the vehicle breaks down, instead of setting up warning signs in accordance with regulations, which may easily lead to rear-end collisions.
