have a chance of winning the Pop Media Prize 2020. The prize will be awarded for the 27th time on Saturday 16 January during the digital edition of Eurosonic Noorderslag.
The public could vote for the prize for candidates and three nominees were chosen from among them.
The prize is awarded for the entire oeuvre of a maker, paying particular attention to expressions about pop music.
Makers from all branches of the media have a chance of winning the prize: press, books, radio, TV, online media, documentaries, film or photography.
This year's jury consists of Gijsbert Kamer (pop journalist at
jury chairman), Matthijs van Duijvenbode (musician and artist manager), Lisa de Jongh (Patronaat & Welcome to the Village), Wilbert Mutsaers (Spotify Benelux), Yolanda Ulger (Universal) and Atze de Vrieze (VPRO
, which can be seen via Videoland, the artist gives a glimpse into her private life.
In the documentary, Famke Louise tells, among other things, that she was beaten by her ex on an almost daily basis.
She said she was considering filing a complaint against him.
