Burj Khalifa celebrates its 11th anniversary

Burj Khalifa, the global urban landmark developed by Emaar, today celebrates its 11th anniversary.

The tower was inaugurated on January 4, 2010, in conjunction with the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the assumption of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the reins of government in Dubai.

Burj Khalifa is 828 meters (2716.5 feet) high and has more than 200 floors, of which 160 floors are inhabited, surpassing all other buildings in the world.

Burj Khalifa succeeded, over time, in consolidating its position as an international landmark by all standards, to become one of the most luxurious destinations for housing and offices for multinational companies, in addition to the status of "At the Top, Burj Khalifa", "At the Top, Burj Khalifa Sky" and "Atmosphere" , The highest restaurant in the world, and "The Lounge, Burj Khalifa", with a height of 585.36 meters, is among the most prominent tourist destinations in the city.

Burj Khalifa overlooks the Dubai Fountain and is the main focus of Emaar's New Year celebrations, a mega event that annually attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors.
