His Highness wrote in a tweet on “Twitter”, “May God Almighty have mercy on the doctrine of Ali Al-Muhairi, who made fun of his experience in serving his community and his country over decades of giving .. from the loyal men of the state and its loyal sons .. Yesterday, in the city of Al-Ain, Ali Al-Muhairi, who was honored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in 2011 and awarded the Abu Dhabi Prize, in appreciation of the services he provided to the people of the region, as one of the most famous healers in it.

The deceased was born in the city of Al Ain in 1920, and his parents died at an early stage, which forced him to rely on himself, so he worked in diving, agriculture and some other simple professions, except that at the age of 20 he worked in the profession of folk medicine, and he learned from his grandmother the practice of folk medicine. He has a deep knowledge of how to treat more than 50 types of dangerous diseases, and with his intelligence he was also able to develop cupping tools, and during his practice of this great human profession, he treated thousands of patients.

He described Al-Mahiri's creed - whose fame has surpassed the UAE - as a scientific, cultural and social encyclopedia familiar with all areas of life, in addition to his familiarity with the genealogies and their origins, and the geography of the land in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai.

Despite his advanced age, Al-Muhairi continued to treat those who resorted to him who saw folk medicine as a benefit for them, without compensation or for a small fee at the urging of patients.

He also did not skimp on providing any information related to his profession to researchers and scholars interested in folk medicine from a modern scientific point of view, and many people benefited from his experience in the country and abroad, as everyone who asked him for this knowledge, whether medical students or researchers, learned.

The experience of al-Muhairi’s belief did not stop at the limit of his personal knowledge. Rather, he transferred this experience to his grandson Eissa, and he learned this from his grandfather and is knowledgeable about it, practicing marking on some patients.

As soon as Abdullah Al Muhairi, son of the deceased, published the news of the death of his father through his Twitter account, condolences followed.

Sultan Al-Amimi, head of the Emirates Writers Union, the poet and researcher, said: “Ali Al-Muhairi's doctrine worked in the field of folk medicine, and his fame went beyond the city of Al-Ain, in which he was born and lived outside the Emirates.

He is the younger brother of the great Al-Ain poet, Moza Al-Muhairi, famous for Moza Al-Tuwaiya ».

The journalist Osama Al-Amiri recalled his memories with the late and his role as a popular healer, and said: “Your items are based on a belief that marks you ... a saying that has been used by people in Al-Ain and other regions in the Emirates, because this man had a good reputation in medicating and treating people.

One of the faithful sons of this country has left our world, leaving behind him a fragrant life after a life full of acts of righteousness and goodness.

The media, Talal Al-Faliti, said on his Twitter account: “The father, Aqeedah Ali Al-Muhairi, may God have mercy on him, is a statesman whom the people of the city of Al-Ain knew before the union.
