Audiences were more likely to see live characters than zombies on TV to kick off the New Year.
Friday evening, TF1 broadcast the fourth episode of
District Z
, the game in which five guests try to collect money for an association while inviting a horde of (nice) living dead launched after them.
The penultimate number of the program presented by Denis Brogniart won only 2.60 million viewers, or 13.2% of audience share, according to figures communicated by
Puremédias
.
This is the show's worst audience since it launched on December 11.
Because of this score, TF1 ranks second in the hearings and is stolen from the top of the ranking by France 2. The public service channel nevertheless offered a replay of the TV movie

4.43 million people took part in the survey, or 19.2% of the public.
Surprisingly, this second broadcast achieves a better score than the first, followed by 4.38 million viewers in December 2019. During the next two weeks, France 2 will offer two new episodes of this series.
As for the other channels, France 3 climbs on the third step of the podium with the film
Les Misérables
, scheduled to pay tribute to its director, Robert Hossein, who died on Thursday, December 31.
The feature film attracted 1.95 million viewers, or 10.6% audience share.
