National Marine Forecast Station: The largest ice floes in the northern waters of my country in January reached 55-65 nautical miles

  A few days ago, the National Ocean Forecasting Station issued a forecast of ice conditions in the Bohai Sea and northern Yellow Sea in January 2021.

  Ice conditions: According to the latest ocean station observations and satellite remote sensing monitoring, the range of ice floes in Liaodong Bay is 11 nautical miles, the range of ice floes in the northern part of the Yellow Sea is 4 nautical miles, and Bohai Bay and Laizhou Bay are ice-free.

  Estimated: In January 2021, the largest ice floe range in Liaodong Bay is 55-65 nautical miles, the general ice thickness is 10-20 cm, and the maximum is 35 cm; the largest ice floe in the northern part of the Yellow Sea is about 10-20 nautical miles, the general ice thickness is 10-20 cm, the largest 30 cm; the maximum range of ice floes in Bohai Bay and Laizhou Bay is about 5~15 nautical miles, the general ice thickness is 5~15 cm, and the maximum is 20 cm.
