The man was still symptomatic after the infection was confirmed and was scheduled to be released from home the day after his death.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the man who died was a man in his 60s living in Tokyo, who was confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus on the 19th of last month and had symptoms such as fever and coughing. It means that he was receiving medical treatment at home because he had no illness.



After that, health center staff kept in touch regularly for follow-up, and when the last contact was made on the 28th of last month, the man said that his fever had dropped, so two days later, 30 last month. If I contacted him again a day and had no symptoms, he was scheduled to cancel his home care.



However, on the 29th of last month, the day after the staff contacted him, a man's family visited his home and found that the man had collapsed unconsciously and was taken to the hospital, but died afterwards. Is confirmed.
