People vaccinated against the coronavirus will be well registered in France, but not those who are not, assured Gabriel Attal on

BFM TV

, this Wednesday, December 30.

There will be "no file of people who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19," the government spokesman said.

France will therefore not follow the example of Spain, which announced on Monday that it would create a register of people refusing to be vaccinated.

This file may be shared with other European countries but will not be made public, the Spanish authorities said.

Data covered by medical confidentiality

The French government will therefore be satisfied with a file of people who have received the injection, which will come into force on January 4.

A decree published on December 25th authorized the creation of this register called “SI Vaccin Covid” (SI for “information system”).

The objective is to better manage the vaccination campaign.

The personal data in this file are covered by medical secrecy, recalled this Wednesday in an information note the Cnil, guardian of the private life of the French.
