On December 31, a total investment of 24.6 billion yuan, a total length of about 157 kilometers, a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, two-way six-lane Cheng (Du) Yi (Bin) Expressway was officially opened to traffic. This expressway has been under construction for more than two years. There are 157 bridges, 4 tunnels and 17 interchanges across the line.
It is one of the highway projects with the highest design standards in Sichuan Province.
The Chengdu (Du)-Yi (Bin) Expressway starts at the Qingfeng hub in the Jianpu section of Chengdu’s “Three Windings” (Chengdu Economic Zone Ring Expressway) and connects with the southern line of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Expressway, passing through Chengdu Eastern New District, Jianyang City, Renshou County of Meishan City, Weiyuan County of Neijiang City, Rong County of Zigong City, Xuzhou District of Yibin City, Cuiping District, stop at the Le (Shan)-Yi (Bin) Expressway Zhongfeng Temple Hub and dock with the west section of Yibin City Transit Expressway.
