On December 30, 2020 local time, a landslide occurred in the town of Asker near the Norwegian capital Oslo in the early morning of the 30th, causing at least 9 people to be injured and 15 people missing.

According to the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, the town of Asker is about 45 kilometers northeast of Oslo and has about 5,000 residents. The local police and hospital received reports on geological disasters at about 4 am that day.

Several houses were destroyed, at least 9 people were injured, 15 people were missing, and no deaths were reported.
