On December 30th, "Pray for Good Fortune, Prosperity, Prosperity and Avoiding Epidemic-National Intangible Cultural Heritage Huaxian Woodcut New Year Painting Protection Achievements Exhibition" opened in Prince Gong's Mansion in Beijing.

Huaxian woodcut New Year pictures originated in the northern Henan plain and the old course of the Yellow River, and are an important representative of the cultural heritage of the Yellow River.

The Huaxian woodcut New Year pictures were produced in the mid-Ming Dynasty and reached their peak in the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. However, they were buried for a long time and no one knew it until 2006.

In 2008, Huaxian woodblock New Year pictures were included in the national intangible cultural heritage representative project list.
