The snow fell constantly, and the road turned into a snow field, and the road to work was severely congested.
There were also eye-catching accidents.
At around 12:20 pm today, a truck hit the vehicle ahead of the Seohaean Expressway near Julpo IC, and three cars that followed were colliding one after another.
Up to now, heavy snow has poured in Honam and Chungcheong, including a whopping 26cm in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do, 16cm in Gwangju and 12cm in Sejong.
Snow clouds developed explosively around the west coast where cold air and humid air meet.
Snow continues until the day after tomorrow, the first day of the year.
In the future, there may be places where more than 20cm of snow falls on the west coast of Honam and 15cm of snow on the west coast of Honam and Chungnam.
There is a possibility of more than 30cm of snow on Mt. Halla and Ulleungdo.
A severe cold wave continues in the metropolitan area and Gangwon-do.
Today, the temperature in Seoul dropped to -12.4 degrees, the lowest in this winter, and Hwacheon in Gangwon-do reached -21.7 degrees below zero.
Tomorrow, the temperature in Seoul is expected to be -12 degrees Celsius below -18 degrees Celsius in Daegwallyeong, and the wind is strong, so the perceived temperature will drop to around -20 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Administration predicted that the cold wave of around -10 degrees Celsius will continue until early next year.
