Currently, the temperature in Seoul has dropped to around -12 degrees inland, including -12.5 degrees below zero, and as the wind is added to this, the cold felt in the actual streets is colder than this.
Even during the day, temperatures in most regions will remain below freezing, and tomorrow, the first day of the new year, the morning temperatures in Seoul will drop to -8 degrees Celsius.
Snow continues to fall in Honam and the islands, where heavy snow warnings have been issued, but from yesterday to the present, a lot of snow over 30cm has accumulated on Ulleungdo.
Jeju Eorimok is 29cm, and Jeongeup is 28.1cm. These areas are covered with snow.
Currently, snowfall is much weaker than yesterday, but there are still snow clouds in these areas, and by tomorrow, 5 to 15 cm of snow in Honam and 20 cm or more of snow in the island area will pile up.
From this afternoon to night, a little snow cloud will pass through the central and northern parts of Seoul and the western interior of Yeongnam.
