"In addition to the meticulous maintenance and conservation of the Seville Bullring, it develops a complete program of academic, cultural and patronage activities that transcend the specific area of Bullfighting", reads the award, granted on the 350th anniversary of the institution's founding "for the extensive and meritorious work carried out in the set of academic, cultural, artistic and patronage activities, linked to Bullfighting as a manifestation of the Spanish intangible cultural heritage."
