Nagano Prefecture announced that 11 men and women in their 90s from elementary school students under the age of 10 living in the prefecture and Kanagawa Prefecture have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
According to Nagano City, a woman in her 80s who was hospitalized in a medical institution after being infected with the new coronavirus died.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in Nagano Prefecture is now 1,140, of which 14 have died.
