Aomori Prefecture and others have announced that a total of 15 people, including 9 people in the Hirosaki Healthcare Center, 3 people in Aomori City, and 3 people in Hachinohe City, have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

Of these, a man in his 70s in Hachinohe City announced that he had died on the 26th of this month before the test results were available.

This brings the death toll in the prefecture to eight.

In addition, eight of the people who were confirmed to be infected within the Hirosaki Healthcare Center are related to the prefectural high school where a group of infected people = clusters occurred.



The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 453, including those who have already recovered and those who have died.
