According to Vasiliev, Cardin was a great creator of fashion at the beginning of the 20th century, one of the “last Mohicans”.
“I am absolutely happy that his life was so fulfilling, eventful and so magnificent,” added the fashion historian.
Cardin died at the age of 98.
