Recently, 800 sheep raised on the mountain by a herder in Akeqi Township, Aksai County, Jiuquan City, Gansu, lost their lives.
The local township government organized more than ten people to find the sheep in three groups and went to the mountains with an altitude of more than 3,500 meters. The slopes were covered with snow, the weather was cold, and the mountains were high and deep, and vehicles were unable to pass, which made it extremely difficult to find the sheep.
After three days of trekking for about 100 kilometers, the rescue team finally found the lost sheep in a depression on the mountain. After counting, there were more than 600 sheep.
