“Tagesschau” at 5 pm had to be canceled twice

The excitement came first on Twitter: What's going on there, why can't I see the “Tagesschau”, asked several users on Tuesday afternoon.

As the "Bild" newspaper reported a little later, the producing broadcaster NDR apparently had massive technical problems.

The feature films could not be played, moderator Claus-Erich Boetzkes had to admit: "All contributions are not available".

A restart was attempted at 17.05, as the paper continues, but to no avail. Instead, the tabloid magazine "Brisant" took over the screen earlier than planned. What caused the technical problems is still unclear.
