In a new museum in the Egyptian capital Cairo, you can walk completely in a swimming pool without getting wet, or walk through a tunnel in which the earth swings from under your feet, or you stand on your head in a rotating room .. And all of that is just a hoax.

It is an experience provided by the "Museum of Illusions", as visitors enjoy nearly 70 tricks that test their senses, minds and psychological state.

The museum’s general director, Mahmoud Abu Abbas, explained that these tricks are designed to deceive the senses of the visitor, for whom the museum explains the scientific, mathematical and psychological explanation of each trick.

He said, "You intervene by seeing things that are not real, but at the same time he explains with your understanding that why do you see the need in this way."

"The museum is not merely a need for entertainment, but rather, because you intervene to learn different needs and learn interesting facts about the needs of the museum," he added.

The museum’s website stated that the aim is "to discover why our eyes perceive things that are incomprehensible to our minds."

Most museum visitors are groups of friends or families who want to enjoy and test their senses.

The museum also welcomes children as well as adults.

Tricks also include holograms, optical illusions, and an endless room.
