Chagan Lake is one of the ten largest freshwater lakes in China, located in Qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, Jilin Province.

Winter fishing in Chagan Lake began in the Liao and Jin Dynasties, and it is the only Mongolian primitive fishing method currently reserved in China.

The artificial ice-cutting, netting, and horse-drawn winches used in winter fishing in Chagan Lake have become living fossils of human primitive fishing and hunting culture.

At this year's winter catching scene, the ice gate, ice wall and various flags echoed each other.

Approaching noon, the "Sacrifice to the Lake·Wake Up Net" ceremony began. The tribal people pray for blessings and collect the sacred fire, which are the inheritance of the ancient fishing and hunting culture.

The pile of fish piles on the winter catching scene is spectacular.

The "head fish" caught up means auspiciousness, and it has been the "color head" that has been scrambled over the years.

The starting price of this year's Chagan Lake "head fish" is 199999 yuan.

After fierce bidding, the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Jilin Province finally won the auction at a price of 2999999 yuan, which also set a historical record.
