The Emirates Science Club with the Culture and Science Symposium concluded the activities of the virtual winter session, which was held from the 13th to the 26th of this month, with inventions, innovations and scientific ideas presented by Emirati talents at the age of flowers, which was the title of the closing ceremony of the scientific winter session that was held the day before yesterday, in which 78 participated Male and female students.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Issa Al Bastaki, Chairman of the Emirates Science Club, Dr. Muhammad Rahma, Issa Al Suwaidi, Engineer Muhammad Matar Al Shamsi, members of the club's board of directors, and a large number of students' parents.

The ceremony presented a photo report on the activities of male and female students during the course, which included multiple scientific workshops in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, 3D printing, electricity and electronics.

In his opening speech, Al-Bastaki thanked Bilal Al-Badour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Culture and Science Symposium, for the constant support of the Scientific Club, and welcomed the members of the club and seminar councils, the trainees and parents, stressing that “this day is not forgotten in the history of the students participating in the session”, expressing His hope is that it will be the beginning of a springboard to the future.

He said, “The wise leadership of the state is proud of its sons and daughters who challenge the impossible and make it possible,” indicating the interest of the Scientific Club in training young people with advanced sciences and refining their skills, being the nucleus of the future for the country's development, and completing the development process that began since the establishment of the Union in 1971 and in line with the UAE Centennial 2071. , Striving to be the best UAE in the world in all fields.

The winter session members revealed new innovations, including the "Smart Gate for Child Protection", invented by the student Mthayel Muhammad Al-Suraidi, and the "smart charger" for the student Mahra Ahmed Al-Bastaki, and the student Reem Hamad Al-Shehhi, participating in the cybersecurity workshop, gave a practical presentation on phishing Mail.

As for the design and technology enthusiasts, they accomplished a large number of artistic works created by their fingertips, as the student Maryam Ahmad Al Falasi gave a presentation of a practical design using various programs for 3D printing, while the two students Sarah Khaled bin Hammad and Amna Jassim Al Nuaimi presented an integrated model of the solar system from the Augmented Reality workshop Muzna Al-Mansouri, Al-Yazia Al-Mansouri and Wadima Jamal also made a joint presentation from the Artificial Intelligence workshop, where they trained the machine on some questions related to the Japanese flower and answered them using Python programming.

Al-Bastaki stressed that our students are the seeds of the future, and that the works and projects they carried out are part of the fourth industrial revolution, and that the world now uses technology in various areas of life, and that technology is the future, extending thanks and appreciation to parents, praising the efforts of the course supervisors and the students' regularity in activities Club courses.
