Mie Prefecture and others have announced that a total of 12 men and women in their teens to 50s have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Of these, five male and female teenagers were attending a dinner party for students at Mie University, and Mie Prefecture is said to have had the 23rd cluster in the prefecture.
A total of 1237 people have been confirmed to be infected in Mie Prefecture.
