[Explanation] On December 27, the Beijing-Xiong’an New Area Intercity Railway (hereinafter referred to as the “Jingxiong Intercity Railway”) opened from Daxing Airport to Xiongan’s new section. So far, the Beijing-Xiong’an Intercity Railway has been fully connected.

The fastest travel time between Beijing West Railway Station and Xiong’an New Section is 50 minutes, and the fastest travel time between Daxing Airport and Xiong’an New Section is 19 minutes.

[Explanation] The Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway starts from Beijing West Station and ends at Xiong'an Station. The line is 91 kilometers long and has 6 stations in Beijing West, Beijing Daxing, Daxing Airport, Gu'an East, Bazhou North, and Xiong'an.

Among them, the section from Beijing West to Daxing Airport was opened for operation on September 30, 2019. The new section from Daxing Airport to Xiong'an opened this time is 59 kilometers long.

[Explanation] The maximum design speed of the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway is 350 kilometers per hour, and the maximum operating speed in the initial stage is 300 kilometers per hour.

The first train from Beijing West Railway Station is the C2701 train, which will be dispatched at 10:38 and will reach Xiong'an Station at 11:22.

[Concurrent] Song Tingting, Director of Beijing West Railway Station Office

On the first day of the 27th, a total of 6 pairs of high-speed EMU trains will run from Beijing West Railway Station to Xiong’an. Starting tomorrow, we will resume the daily operation chart. There will be 11 pairs of trains daily between Beijing West Railway Station and Xiong’an Station, Daxing Airport There are 5 more pairs at Xiongan Station.

[Commentary] Song Tingting introduced that after the adjustment of the national railway operation map on January 20, 2021, the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway will arrange trains according to the daily and peak lines. At that time, the maximum number of daily operating trains between Beijing West and Xiong'an will be There are 16 pairs, and 1 pair of peak maps are designed to meet the travel needs of tourists during peak holidays.

[Explanation] It is understood that the train running on the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway is a new type of intelligent EMU train. The first train driver Han Junjia told reporters that the intelligent EMU train facilitates the driving and manipulation of train drivers and ensures safe operation.

[In the same period] Han Junjia, the first driver of the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway

The car we are using now is the Fuxing EMU independently developed by China. From our perspective, it is particularly convenient for our drivers to drive and control intelligently. For us, it can control the train more accurately, ensuring that the train is in operation. Safe and punctual.

[Explanation] As another smart high-speed rail constructed in China, the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway has made new breakthroughs in a number of key smart technologies.

Among them, for the first time in the railway field, the design and construction of a fully assembled structure from foundations, piers, bridges to deck systems have been realized. This assembly-type integrated bridge construction technology is vividly called "building high-speed rail like building blocks." .

[Concurrent] Kang Xuedong, Deputy Chief Engineer of China Railway Design Group Co., Ltd.

It adopts the assembly type from the bridge foundation pier body and bridge deck system. This assembly type is factory prefabricated, which makes the components more miniaturized. In addition, the assembly construction has a shorter construction period and greatly improves the efficiency.

[Explanation] On the same day, the Xiongan station was put into use simultaneously.

The opening of the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway to traffic and the completion and commissioning of Xiong'an Station are of great significance for facilitating people's exchanges in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, accelerating industrial agglomeration and regional economic integration, and promoting the construction of Xiongan New Area and the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
