A reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned that after the Beijing-Xiong Intercity line is fully operational, the fastest travel time between Beijing West Railway Station and Xiong'an New Section is 50 minutes, and the fastest travel time between Daxing Airport and Xiong'an New Section is 19 minutes.

On the same day, Xiongan Station was also put into use simultaneously.

  The Beijing-Xiong Intercity leads from Beijing West Railway Station, passes through the existing Beijing-Kowloon Railway to Liying Station, connects to the newly built high-speed railway line, and passes through Beijing Daxing District, Langfang City, Hebei Province, and Bazhou City to Xiong’an New District in the south. It is 91 kilometers long and has a maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The section from Beijing West to Daxing Airport was opened on September 26, 2019.

The newly opened section from Daxing Airport to Xiong’an is 59 kilometers long, with 4 stations including Daxing Airport, Gu’an East, Bazhou North and Xiong’an.

  The Beijing Youth Daily reporter learned that after the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway Daxing Airport to Xiong'an new section is opened for operation, the railway department will arrange 16 pairs of mobile trains, with the initial maximum operating speed of 300 kilometers per hour.

When the national railway operation chart is adjusted on January 20, 2021, trains will be arranged according to daily and peak lines, and up to 17 pairs of mobile trains will be operated daily.
