Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 26th that it was confirmed that 36 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 5,169.
On the other hand, the U.S. military has informed the prefecture that two new people have been confirmed to be infected at Camp Hansen and one at Kadena Air Base.
With this, the number of confirmed infections by US military personnel in Okinawa is now 684.
