On December 25, a white-headed langur from the monkey group in the botanical garden looks out from a tree in Chongzuo National Nature Reserve, Guangxi.

The white-headed langur is a national first-level protected wild animal unique to China. More than 90% of the wild population is distributed in the Guangxi Chongzuo White-headed langur National Nature Reserve.

In recent years, various protection measures have been implemented in the reserve to make the white-headed langur population develop healthily. At present, the local white-headed langur population has increased to more than 130 groups and more than 1,200.
