A team of firefighters from Vaucluse had a very agitated Christmas in Carpentras reports

La Dépêche

.

Called this Friday to rescue an injured man, the firefighters were shot by the individual when he arrived at his home.

The man said he was injured in the ribs from the fall of a cabinet, although there are suspicions of voluntary violence.

The intervention of the firefighters would have immediately annoyed him and he would have fidgeted and grabbed his rifle.

No injuries

The firefighters then fled with the gunman's wife and son and managed to lock the man in his apartment.

The latter would still have managed to fire five to six shots.

The Raid de Marseille was then called in for reinforcement and managed to calm the individual.

No one was hurt.
