Sultan Salem Al Shamsi and Yahya Ali Saeed Al Malai Al Ketbi achieved leadership in the two rounds that were held in the second preliminary race for the sixth edition of the National Camel Day Marathon, organized by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, and will be held in conjunction with the festival of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Crown Prince of Dubai, for purebred Arabian camels next January.

The race distance reached six kilometers this time, compared to the first preliminary race in which the distance was four kilometers, with the pace of preparations increasing in anticipation of the main race in January.

And in the first preliminary round for the under 30-year-old category, about 46 contestants participated, who were outperformed by Sultan Salem Al Shamsi on board the boat “Latam”, crossing the distance with a time of 10.34.36 minutes.
