The Beijing News (Reporter Liu Mingyang and Huang Qipeng) Wu Xieyu's "Mother Killing Case" was heard in the Fuzhou Intermediate People's Court on the morning of December 24. Uncle Wu Xieyu and his father and friends attended the court hearing.

An observer said that the scene was heard around Wu Xieyu's economic dispute.

  A reporter from the Beijing News saw at the scene that many citizens attended the scene, and some citizens failed to enter the trial court, waiting outside for the outcome of the trial.

  Before that, Wu Xieyu had borrowed money from his uncle and his father's friends. Uncle Wu Xieyu lent nearly 800,000 yuan, and his father's friend borrowed about 600,000 yuan.

An observer stated that the court heard part of the economic dispute involving Wu Xieyu.

  The Beijing News previously reported that on February 14, 2016, Xie Tianqin died at the home of a faculty and staff dormitory in a middle school in Jin'an District, Fuzhou City.

Police investigations found that the murder occurred on July 11, 2015. Xie Tianqin's son Wu Xieyu was suspected of committing a major crime.

After the incident, Wu Xieyu moved in Fuzhou, Beijing and other places, forging his mother's resignation letter and defrauding his relatives of huge sums of money.

Until April 21, 2019, Wu Xieyu was arrested by the police at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport.

  According to information from the People’s Procuratorate’s Case Information Disclosure Network, on May 27, 2019, the Jin’an District Procuratorate of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province charged Wu Xie, the suspect in the “Peking University Child Killing Case,” on suspicion of intentional homicide, fraud, and the crime of buying and selling identity documents. Yu makes a decision to approve the arrest.

On the afternoon of December 26, 2019, a reporter from the Beijing News learned from the Propaganda Office of the Fuzhou Intermediate People's Court of Fujian that the Fuzhou Intermediate Court had accepted the Wu Xieyu case.
