Social media in Egypt has been busy with the news that 3 new giraffes have been brought to the zoo in Giza to join the "Sensun", the only giraffe in the park.

The deal to bring in the three giraffes was concluded in agreement with the Johannesburg Park Zoo in South Africa, in accordance with the internationally approved commercial exchange system, to join the only giraffe in the Giza Zoo, in exchange for other wild animals, the Giza Zoo suffers from an increase in their numbers.

The new giraffes arrived at Cairo Airport on a special cargo plane from South Africa.

Sonsun has been living alone for 3 years, and she was suffering from grief and depression due to the death of her newborn, Aziz, in late 2016, according to the Giza Zoo administration.

The news of the arrival of the new giraffes was met with great interaction on social networking sites in Egypt.

And many expressed their joy at the attention given to "Sensen" and finally meeting with a number of giraffes, to end their loneliness.

And the amusement prevailed on a large number of comments in which the name of the giraffe changed from "Sunsan" to "Susan".

And it was a joke that finally enables "Sensen" to marry, while many young men and women are still searching for their other half, the most shared affair among the singers.

The comments were also not free of those who refuse to marry "Sonsun" with a "foreigner".

On the other hand, some saw that what happened proves that interest in animals has become greater than that of humans.
