On the afternoon of November 21, the Inner Mongolia Health Commission announced that there were two new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in Manzhouli.

The border town of Manzhouli, known as the "Window of East Asia", has been "frozen" again this winter.

On November 22, according to the overall arrangement of the Inner Mongolia New Coronary Pneumonia Medical Treatment Expert Group, 10 medical personnel were deployed from the Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine Department, Critical Care Medicine Department, and Laboratory Medicine Department of the People's Hospital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to form a medical team to assist Manzhouli treatment work .

Yu Haixia, who was the first batch of Inner Mongolia’s first aid to the intensive care physician group of the Hubei medical team, once again went to the front line. She said in an interview with reporters: “After getting off the plane, we went straight to the designated hospital to enter the warehouse and treat patients. On my journey, seeing this once gorgeous and exotic town was much quieter, reminding me of Wuhan at the beginning of the year."

"We must rejuvenate this small town," Yu Haixia said.

The first two patients diagnosed in Manzhouli were husband and wife, and the male patient was identified as a critically ill patient.

Li Xiaoling shed tears several times. She said: "In the small space of the ward, we are each other's relatives."

"Patients need to ventilate in the prone position for more than 12 hours. The respiratory therapist and the nurse team cooperate with each other to enter the warehouse up to five or six times a day." Li Xiaoling said, "His wife's condition is slightly better. As long as she is in good condition, she will do it again. I greeted the medical team members all over."

Xu Xuelian, the head nurse who also went to Hubei for assistance, told reporters that the couple's son worked in Hohhot, more than 2,000 kilometers away, and was distraught after learning that both parents were diagnosed.

"I added his WeChat through his mother and took pictures of him every day about the recovery of the old couple, so that he can rest assured."

At the welcome meeting that day, Bao Yonghui, the son of the confirmed couple, rushed to the scene, personally presented a pennant to the medical team and bowed deeply to them.

Even a sigh of thanks seems to be unable to express his gratitude.

Bao Yonghui said that the triumphant day of the medical team is also the day when parents lifted their 14-day medical observation and returned home.

"The epidemic has made me truly appreciate the love in the world, and feel the strength and warmth of the motherland."

It is reported that the third batch of medical teams who rushed to assist the Fourth Hospital of Inner Mongolia to treat imported confirmed cases were also lifted from the quarantine together with the Manzhouli Medical Team that day.
