  The public prosecution agency charged that in the first half of 2015, the defendant Wu Xieyu had thoughts of killing his mother Xie Tianqin (the victim, died at the age of 48). After buying knives and other criminal tools online, he killed Xie Tianqin at home on July 10.

After committing the crime, Wu Xieyu lied that Xie Tianqin went abroad to accompany him to exchange and study, and defrauded relatives and friends of a total of 1.44 million yuan to spend.

In order to avoid arrest, Wu Xieyu successively purchased more than 10 identity documents from others.

In April 2019, Wu Xieyu was arrested and brought to justice.

  The public prosecution agency believed that the defendant Wu Xieyu deliberately and illegally deprived others of their lives; defrauding others’ property for the purpose of illegal possession, and the amount was extremely large; in order to avoid legal investigation, buying and selling identity documents constituted intentional homicide, fraud, and sale The crime of identity documents shall be punished in accordance with the law.

  In the court, the public prosecution agency read out the indictment and presented relevant evidence, the defendant and his defender cross-examined, the prosecution and the defender fully expressed their opinions, and the defendant made a final statement.

The court announced an adjournment and an optional sentence.

  More than 20 people, including relatives of the defendant, deputies to the National People's Congress, members of the CPPCC, and media reporters, attended the trial.

According to previous reports, on February 14, 2016, Xie Tianqin was found dead in the home of a faculty and staff dormitory in a middle school in Jin'an District, Fuzhou City.

Police investigations found that the murder occurred on July 11, 2015. Xie Tianqin's son Wu Xieyu was suspected of committing a major crime.

After the incident, Wu Xieyu moved in Fuzhou, Beijing and other places, forging his mother's resignation letter and defrauding his relatives of huge sums of money.

  In the following three years, the suspect Wu Xieyu disappeared from direct sales.

Until April 21, 2019, Wu Xieyu was arrested by the police at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport.
