R. Kelly sees his wait in prison extended.

The R&B singer was arrested in 2019 and has since been waiting behind bars for four trials, all related to underage sexual abuse.

The one planned in Chicago has been postponed to September 13, 2021.

The federal judge in charge of the case had already postponed it to April and then to October 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This trial should last three weeks, as reported by

R. Kelly is accused of filming his sex with underage women and bribing witnesses to change their story.

Not out of the woods

If R. Kelly succeeds in having the charges against him dropped, as was the case in 2004, three other trials await him.

He is to be tried from April 7 by the New York federal court for racketeering.

He is accused of having made a minor travel to several American states for the purpose of having sex with her.
