Of course, the position of some of our fellow citizens regarding the next portion of the sanctions imposed against our country cannot but be surprising.

Yes, de facto against a number of Russian citizens, and not against the whole country.

But we understand very well that the main goal and the desired effect is another image blow to Russia, discrediting our state in the world space.

And it has long been unimportant what or who was the reason, what the circumstances were this time.

The main thing is that it is high time for all of us to understand: if there is a goal to put pressure on and impose sanctions, there will always be a reason.

And in this context, someone's attempts to understand in detail the details of the case of the "patient of the Berlin clinic" look rather strange.

Well, who is interested in the fantastic details of the case, which is known in advance: there will be no evidence or documents.

As always, the Russian state will be charged because "well, who else could have done this!"

The performance will be performed without our participation, as has happened dozens, if not hundreds of times.

So why waste time and effort at all on trifles, which in any case will not affect anything - all decisions were made long before the start of the special operation.

It is in this way, plunging into unnecessary and unimportant details, that they are trying hard to divert us from the main thing, to blur our attention, to divert us from fundamental issues of really fundamental importance.

As soon as we, Russia, begin to follow the lead of our opponents, fighting off far-fetched accusations, answering questions that are obviously unanswered, and reacting to what needs to be ignored, we are already starting to lose.

Why?

Because it is impossible to win the battle only by defending; for victory it is necessary to attack.

An old eternal truth.

And we have been sitting on the defensive for a very long time.

It's been too long.

Yes, the Russian Foreign Ministry has already announced retaliatory measures to EU sanctions.

Yes, the Russian department considers it absolutely unacceptable to adopt EU sanctions against Russian citizens, despite the fact that the initiators, as always, did not provide evidence in the "Navalny case" not only to the Russian authorities, but even to the partners in the European Union.

One could say that the situation is egregious, but it has long been regular.

Nothing new, absolutely nothing.

What should we understand for ourselves in the current circumstances?

What is the most important, determining and guiding here?

Sanctions are a weapon of the weak, despite the fact that everyone, starting with the United States, is using them now.

Any sanctions hit on both sides, this is a game not even with zero, but with a negative result.

Therefore, it is pointless to play these games.

It is unacceptable when our opponents, in the words of Stirlitz, “hold us for a fool in the old Polish preference”.

The correct answer from our side is the total import substitution of European goods.

It is necessary to hit the economy of the European Union.

Europeans need to see that political games against Russia rob them of jobs and income.

Here's what would be the most powerful and most effective response to long-term and habitual misbehavior from our former partners.

To act non-linearly, systematically and inevitably.

In our own national interests, without looking back at the "partners" - this is the main recipe by which it is high time for us to prepare a spicy dish for Europeans.
