On the 22nd, a fire extinguishing system was activated in the underground parking lot of a hotel in Nagoya City, filled with smoke that seems to be carbon dioxide, and 11 people were transported. Of these, a worker who was working on the site died. According to an interview with the fire department, the cover of the start button of the fire extinguishing equipment near the entrance of the parking lot was open.

It seems that the equipment was activated by pressing the button, and fire departments are investigating in detail how the cover was opened.

Around 10 am on the 22nd, a fire extinguishing facility was activated at the mechanical underground parking lot of Nagoya Garden Palace, a hotel located in Nishiki 3-chome, Naka-ku, Nagoya, and was filled with white smoke.

A total of 11 workers, including workers who were working nearby and hotel employees, were taken to the hospital by smoking, and among them, Ken Tamada (51) from Gifu City died.

According to the fire department, the smoke seems to be carbon dioxide released by the fire extinguishing equipment installed in the parking lot, but no fire was confirmed at the site.

When I checked the start button of the fire extinguishing equipment near the entrance of the parking lot, it was newly found by interviewing the fire department that the cover that had been installed to prevent accidental pressing was open.
