Infection was confirmed in a total of 10 men and women in their teens to 90s in Kumamoto City, women in their 20s in Mifune Town, men in their teens in Kikuyo City, women in their 50s in Kikuyo Town, and women in their 30s in Ujo City. There are two men, a woman in her 70s in Kumamoto, a woman in her 30s in Ashikita, a man in her 30s and a woman in her 40s in Arao, and a woman in her 20s in Koshi.
With this, a total of 1516 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture.
