Transactions that violate the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, saying that the former president of the operating company of a major discount store "Don Quijote" recommended that acquaintances buy their own shares before the inside information such as TOB = tender offer was released. I was charged with the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office for the recommendation.

The indicted was Koji Ohara (57), the former president of the Don Quijote operating company.

According to the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office, former president Ohara said in September before the announcement of inside information about the TOB = tender offer, etc., that he illegally recommended a man he knew to buy his own shares. I am accused of recommending a transaction that violates the law.

An acquaintance of the former president bought 76,500 shares for about 430 million yen from the beginning of September to the beginning of October before the plan was announced, and according to the people concerned, it sold out at a high price of tens of millions of yen. It means that I made a profit.

Former president Ohara initially denied fraud, but he admitted that he was charged.
