The Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage has completed all the arrangements and equipment in anticipation of the launch of the Fazza Falconry Championship (Talwah), which will be held from the second to the 16th of next January in Al Ruwaiya area in Dubai.

The championship is the premier event for falconry sports, and an annual destination for the best falconers and the elite birds who compete in search of winning the largest and most expensive runs.

The tournament website has opened its doors since the beginning of this week to receive the participants who come to register, and to carry out the procedures for installing the smart ring, noting that the organizing committee has provided smart electronic services, including booking an appointment through the official application of the tournament in order to book an appointment to complete these procedures, to avoid gatherings, and to grant every falconer The field to complete its process quickly and easily, and according to its own time, to ensure that the "safety" and "happiness" of the participants are the basis for the organizational procedures.

For its part, Director of the Tournaments Department at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, Suad Ibrahim Darwish, confirmed that “the next edition of the tournament will be exceptional in terms of the strength of competitions and the level of participants, in addition to the procedures applied by the organizing committee in order to ensure the safety and health of everyone in light of the pandemic Corona that the world is going through, which is what made us make special preparations, and we seek to continue the tournament with the successes that it reaped in the past years, and made it a destination for the elite falconers looking for excellence in the runs we expect to be strong and have close levels.

Darwish called on all those wishing to participate in the necessity to complete the registration procedures, as the doors of the organizing committee are open for everyone to overcome all obstacles, listen to opinions, and work to continue developing the event in its various details through the additions that are keen to present in each version.

Timetable

According to the schedule approved for the championship, the "Al-Shuyoukh" - Farkh and Gernas races will be organized from the second to the fifth of next January for the categories of Gir Shaheen, Gir Taba, Pure Gear and Qarmousha, and in the period from the sixth to the ninth of the same month, the public open and Malak races are held - Fakhr and Gernas for groups Gir Shaheen, Gear, Taba, Pure Gear, and Garmouche.

On January 10 and 11, the first rounds of the Emirates Falconry League, which was launched last year and achieved remarkable success, will be held on January 10 and 11, until its position is firmly established in the calendar of annual falconry events.

The championship will continue on January 12 and 13, local open runs - Farkh and Jernas for the Al Hur and Al Shaheen classes, and on January 14, the junior runs who compete with birds followed, followed by Gere, and then the final will be on January 15 and 16, with the Gulf, Farkh and Jernas in the categories of Pure Gear and Free Qarmoush and followed Gere and Shaheen Gere.

The Pride of the Generations Championship, the second largest tournament for falconry "Al Talwah", will be held from January 30 to February 16, and before that the Rashid bin Hamid Falconry Championship "Al Talwah" will be organized on January 23 in Ajman, as part of the center's strategy aimed at supporting heritage sports and promoting Its spread in all regions of the country.
