The TF1 channel announced Tuesday evening to the magazine "Télé Loisirs" that it would not renew "Grand Hotel" for a season 2. Broadcast between September 3 and 24, the series, carried by Carole Bouquet and Solène Herbert, nevertheless united nearly four million viewers every Thursday.

The channel confirmed on Tuesday evening to
Télé Loisirs
that there would be no second season for this series adapted from a Spanish program.
However, nearly 4 million viewers followed the adventures of a large family who owned a palace on the Côte d'Azur.
Audiences not high enough for the chain, which decided to leave all the intrigues in the air.

In the first season, completed on September 24, Anthony Costa was hired as a waiter at the Grand Hotel to investigate the disappearance of his sister, Amélie Pereira, a maid.
A romance was then created with the daughter of the managers of the hotel, Margaux Vasseur.
Mysterious disappearances followed and several hidden secrets that remained unanswered at the end of the last episode.
"We had leads for season 2"
The creators of the series, Aurélie Belko and Sébastien Le Délézir, seemed optimistic about the rest of the program.

: "There are things we kept for the future. We wrote the arches with the end already in mind. We immediately thought about a season 2, or even 3. , depending on the storylines. We have leads for season 2 but we are waiting for the channel's response. ".
