The principal of Bois d'Aulne in Conflans-Saint-Honorine, where Samuel Paty taught, lodged a complaint after receiving a "threatening" voice message, which accused the college of laxity in the defense of the decapitated professor, we have learned Tuesday from corroborating sources.

This complaint was filed "for contempt and threat of crime or misdemeanor against a person entrusted with a public service mission," said the Versailles prosecutor's office, requested by AFP.

According to the rectorate, the head of establishment lodged a complaint on December 10 "following a threatening message on the college voice mail".

"A mixture of insults and threats"

A source close to the ongoing investigation, for its part, told AFP that this message consisted of "a mixture of insults and threats" targeting the college and accusing it, in substance, of laxity. in defense of Samuel Paty.

On October 16, the 47-year-old history-geography teacher was beheaded by a radicalized Chechen Russian after showing his students caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad as part of a free speech class.

At the beginning of December, an administrative investigation by National Education was published, reporting the events that occurred before his assassination.

The report concludes in particular that the institution and the establishment have taken “reactive arrangements to manage the disorder”.

Conversely, the lawyer for Samuel Paty's family, Virginie Le Roy, ruled that "the institutions", including the National Education, had "failed to protect" the teacher.
