Iwate Prefecture has announced that two new elderly patients infected with the new coronavirus have died.
The number of people who died in the prefecture is 20.
In addition, the prefecture and Morioka City announced that it was confirmed that five people in their 30s to 90s were newly infected with the new coronavirus.
Infection was confirmed in 341 people in the prefecture.
