The arrival of the first vaccine is imminent.

Among the priority people in the French plan: the elderly, and more particularly the residents of Ehpad (accommodation establishment for dependent elderly people) who have paid a heavy price for the Covid-19 epidemic.

Developed by the Pfizer laboratory, the vaccine will be free and not compulsory.

Publicity

The first phase of vaccination concerns 750,000 nursing home residents as well as 90,000 employees of these establishments.

The first surveys carried out by some directors of nursing homes indicate that barely 25% to 30% of their residents would be candidates for vaccination, another third is hesitant, the last fiercely opposed.

The government intends to fight this mistrust by disseminating information on the vaccine.
