Toyama Prefecture has announced that a total of nine people have been newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The infection was confirmed in eight men and women up to their 40s, including two boys under the age of 10 in Toyama City, and a teenage woman in Namerikawa City.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Toyama Prefecture to 503.
