Yesterday, most areas of the country had scarce precipitation

This morning, foggy weather appeared in parts of central and western Sichuan Basin, eastern Yunnan, eastern Jiangxi and other places.

Cold air affects areas north of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River

  From 22 to 24, affected by the cold air, there will be 4-6 northerly winds in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the north, with gusts up to 8-9, and the temperature will drop by 4-6℃, and in some areas the temperature can reach 8℃. .

Some areas in eastern Inner Mongolia and northeastern regions have light to moderate snow, and Jiangnan and southern China have light to moderate rain.

"Krovan" affects the South China Sea

  The center of this year’s No. 23 typhoon "Kolovan" (tropical storm level) is located at 5 o'clock in the morning (21st) today (21st) in the southern South China Sea, about 55 kilometers south of Yongshu Reef, Nansha. The maximum wind force near the center is 8 (18 m/s), the lowest pressure at the center is 1000 hPa, and the radius of the seventh wind circle is 80-200 kilometers.

  It is expected that "Korovam" will move to the southwest at a speed of 10-15 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity. After passing through the western waters of the Nansha Islands, it will gradually approach the coast of southern Vietnam.

  From 08:00 on the 21st to 08:00 on the 22nd, under the combined influence of "Krovan" and cold air, the southern waters of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the Bashi Strait, the east of Taiwan, the Beibu Gulf, most of the South China Sea, and the Paracel Islands, China There will be strong winds of magnitude 6-8 on the sandy islands and the Nansha Islands, and the coastal areas of central and southern Fujian, with gusts up to 9.0. Among them, the southwestern part of the South China Sea has winds of magnitude 9, with gusts of 10-11.

There will be moderate to heavy rains in the Paracel Islands, Zhongsha Islands and Nansha Islands, with heavy rains (50-90 mm) locally.

The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue typhoon warning at 06:00 on December 21.

Specific forecast for the next three days

  From 08:00 on December 21 to 08:00 on 22nd, there was light to moderate snow in northern and southwestern Xinjiang, and parts of western Tibet.

There was light to moderate rain in parts of western Yunnan, Taiwan Island and other places.

There are 4 to 5 winds in northern Xinjiang and other places.

4 to 5 winds in Ningxia, central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northern Hebei, Liaodong Peninsula, Shandong Peninsula and other places (see Figure 3).
