The Kabuki-za Theater in Tokyo has reduced the number of spectators and performers by one since the beginning of the year, as no one has been confirmed to be infected at the theater after resuming the performance in August. We have decided to change from "four-part system" to "three-part system".

Kabuki-za, which was suspended from March due to the influence of the new coronavirus, resumed performances in August, reduced the number of seats to less than half, and reduced the number of seats to less than half, and then reduced the number of spectators and performers to about one hour. We are continuing the performance with the "four-part system" that is replaced.

Since no infected person has been confirmed in the theater so far, Shochiku, who runs the Kabuki-za theater, decided to reduce the number of replacements by one from next month to make it a "three-part system". It was.

The viewing time for each copy will be as long as about 2 hours at the maximum, and the audience will be able to see the two performances, and the reduction of replacement will reduce the burden on the performers and staff.

Infection prevention measures will be taken as before, and shouts and conversations in the venue will continue to be prohibited.

Shochiku's Vice President Yasuko Masako said, "With the cooperation of our customers, we were able to obtain confirmation that the performance could be performed safely. Although the management situation is quite difficult, continuing the performance protects the culture of Kabuki. I think it will lead to that, so I want to work as one to overcome it. "
