In mid-December local time, the 19th batch of Chinese peacekeeping medical teams to Lebanon asked local residents of Lebanon for help. A young child was accidentally scalded by boiling water. The team arranged for medical staff to give treatment.
After clinical diagnosis, the scald area of the child reached 7%, which was a second degree scald.
The team provided timely wound treatment and supplemented with medication to minimize pain and reduce infection.
At present, the child is recovering well from injury, and follow-up rehabilitation is still in progress.
