November 18 was the day when Yu Huan was released from prison. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing to death and insulting his mother before, and was later commuted to 5 years in prison.

From prison back to society, he needs to adapt to many things.

On December 18, Yu Huan was released from prison for a month.

In the evening, he said in a conversation with West China Metropolis Daily and cover news reporters that his biggest wish for the New Year is to take on more responsibilities for his family.

On the same day, Yu Huan had submitted a civil complaint to the Guanxian People's Court of Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, hoping to recover 1.2 million yuan in foreign debt.

I want to take the burden on my father's shoulders

On December 13, Yu Huan’s father, Yu Ximing, made a phone call to his home. This was the first time that Yu Huan’s father called after he was released from prison, and it was also the first time he and his son called after the "humiliating mother case" occurred.

On the phone, his father will treat Huan as a child as always, while Yu Huan tries hard to talk to his father in an equal way.

In the end, the two talked about a foreign debt.

Yu Huan only learned after his release from prison that there was a foreign debt in his family.

He said that his parents had always treated him as a child, and he did not know many things about the family, but after his release this time, it seemed that his mother's mentality had changed. "Tell me many things, including this foreign debt, in 2011. At that time, I lent 1.2 million yuan to others."

When Yu Huan told his father on the phone that he wanted to deal with this foreign debt, his father did not agree at first.

In the eyes of his father, Yu Huan is still a child.

Yu Huan said that he had communicated with his father for a long time, “I told him that I learned a lot of knowledge in the law in prison, and the debt is also through litigation, so that he can wait for my news with peace of mind.” In the end, his father agreed. Yu Huan’s suggestion.

"He just told me, don't be impulsive when things happen." Yu Huan said.

Yu Huan said that after she was released from prison, she saw her mother’s gray hair and felt a little sorry for her. At the same time, she was also sorry for the father who was still serving his sentence in prison. Of course, now that I am old, my parents are old and I want to do something for them."

For Yu Huan, getting the money back for the family is actually just the first step. "Now the ability may not be enough, but I hope that eventually I can take over the burden on my father's shoulders."

In order to fight this lawsuit, Yu Huan began to sort out the information on the evening of December 17, and did not complete the entire case registration process until 2 o'clock in the morning on December 18. After the successful submission, he breathed a sigh of relief, "recover the money. With money, we will be able to send the wages in arrears to the workers, and at the same time we have the funds to restart."

The place I want to go most is Beijing

Yu Huan said that when the situation at home improves slightly, he still wants to go out and see the world.

It has been a month since Yu Huan was released from prison. During this time, Yu Huan’s mother Su Yinxia contacted several southern customers and wanted to meet with them to discuss cooperation matters. However, due to a loan dispute, she was restricted from spending high and went to the South to discuss business. You can only drive or take a bus, and the company is also listed as a dishonest company.

Yu Huan said, “The company has not been in operation for more than five years, but my mother has never given up. However, she rarely allows me to participate in the factory. I hope that I will take a break for a while, learn some skills, and integrate into society as soon as possible.”

Yu Huan said that he understood his mother's ideas and tried his best to obey her mother's arrangements, "I am doing something within my power and then reading at home."

Reading is a habit that Yu Huan has cultivated in prison. “In prison, he reads books and newspapers when he’s fine, and he gradually develops an interest in this area.” Within a month, he took the Supreme People’s Court Judicial Case Research Institute The "Typical Case Recording the Process of the Rule of Law in China-Yu Huan's Case" that I compiled has gone through.

"I learned a lot from it," he said.

Perhaps because of past experience, Yu Huan has dabbled in a lot of legal books.

He said, "Now it is a society under the rule of law. If you don't understand the law, you will make a lot of detours, so you have to learn more now."

For the future, Yu Huan has a general plan, “I still want to go out and venture, I have almost never left Guanxian since I was a child.” He said that the place he wanted to go most was Beijing, “but I don’t know where it is. Can I find a job."

The new year is coming. Yu Huan's New Year wishes are very simple. He hopes that in the new year, he will be more mature, more stable, and able to take responsibility for his family.
