The Emirati star Hussein Al Jasmi and the Egyptian singer Angham will perform an artistic concert at the cultural landmark, and the new masterpiece will be at the Khor Fakkan Amphitheater, on January 31.

The Al Jasmi and Angham concert is the first artistic event to be hosted by Khashbah Al Amphitheater of the Sharjah Government Media Office, as each of them prepared a singing program that mixes new and old songs.

The audience will enjoy an artistic night that mixes Emirati and Egyptian rhythms, and the melodies will present a bouquet of their most beautiful songs, such as: “Oh Ritak, Vahmni”, “Sidi Wisalak”, “All that we bring close to each other,” “My life is with you,” in “The Faraway Corner” and others.

The theater limited the number of attendees at half the capacity, to ensure the application of physical distancing between the audience, and took a series of precautionary measures to protect visitors from "Covid-19", as the operations included sterilizing the entire theater, allocating sterilization gates, providing face masks, private entrances and exits, and other measures. .

Regarding the first concert held on the stage, the Director of the Sharjah Government Media Office, Tariq Allai, said: “The Khorfakkan amphitheater, with its distinctive location and artistic design, completes the living cultural scene of the Emirate of Sharjah, and expresses the creative and touristic identity of the city of Khorfakkan, as it was opened in conjunction with a number of development and cultural projects in The city, under the directives and visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to be a new and qualitative step in the Emirate’s cultural project.

He added: “We celebrate with the singing and music fans an artistic night that brings together two Arab singing stars, on a new cultural and artistic landmark to be added to the prominent landmarks in the city of Khorfakkan, this edifice, which is a quantum leap on the level of cultural theaters in the emirate and the state, because of its design that simulates The historical Roman amphitheatres, and we look forward to the people of the city living an exceptional artistic evening ».

The design of the amphitheater is semicircular, with a flat area of ​​80,000 square feet, with seats that can accommodate 3,600 spectators, and stone façades that include 234 arches and 295 columns, which give the cultural edifice geometric dimensions and contemporary historical depth.
